Erin, hope you had a very happy birthday.  I am working on a Ghouls Don't Scoop Ice Creamnew Mermaid Tales book.  What sea creature should it be about?  Jenny, I get ideas from everywhere-even the newspaper!
Lauren, your name would be great to have in a story (and Christine's too).  Lucy, I forgot to tell you that I was born in the United States, in Kentucky.
Did you know that today is WORLD READ ALOUD DAY?  I'll be reading from three books to two different schools.  The books are:  Danger in the Deep Blue Sea, Ghouls Don't Scoop Ice Cream, and Dragons Don't Throw Snowballs.  It's supposed to snow here today, so hopefully the snow dragon won't be real!  Be sure to ask your teacher or someone at home to read aloud to you.  Have a great Wednesday, Debbie
