Dear Elaina, I am very excited for you. Good luck on The Voice! So far, this summer we went on a motorcycle trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was beautiful, but my bottom got very tired from sitting on a motorcycle for so long!
Lily, I am sorry you lost a Mermaid Tale book when you moved. I hope you like your new home. You were right, Dream of the Blue Turtle is #7 and The Crook and The Crown is #13. Have a great summer, Debbie

Dear Josie and Lissetta, We had lots of fireworks around here too. We didn't even have to go anywhere. We saw lots from our front porch, although it was rained out a bit. Happy early birthday Lissetta! My birthday is May 18th. I am so delighted that you have two favorites: Battl Battle of the Best Friends e of the Best Friends and Danger in the Deep Blue Sea.

Dear Aamina, I must admit that I like all the mermaids in the Mermaid Tales equally. There are things about each that are a bit like me! For instance, Echo is like me because she likes flipping and dancing! Echo is featured in books 2, 6,10, 14 and will be in 18 when it comes out next May.
