Hi Mary, It's still in the works.  I guess there is a lot to figure out, but I think your suggestion is a good one.  I just found out about a cool reading contest the American Basketball is sponsoring, along with the International Reading Association.  You can find free tickets and maybe even a visit from an ABA basketball star for your classroom.  Tell your teacher if it sounds like fun to you.  Click here for more information.  If you are a basketball fan, check out Leprechauns Don't Play Basketball, Debbie

Frankenstein Doesn't Slam Hockey PucksHi Jesse, I hope you'll enjoy reading Frankenstein Doesn't Slam Hockey Pucks.  Marcia and I must love Frankenstein because we also wrote Frankenstein Doesn't Start Food Fights and The Bride of Frankenstein Doesn't Bake Cookies.  Excuse me, I have to go.  I just got a craving for a chocolate chip cookie, Debbie

Hi Jesse, great to hear from you.  Thanks for your nice letter.  I have lots of favorites of the Bailey School Kids, for Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Piesdifferent reasons.  One of my favorites is Skeletons Don't Play Tubas.  Of course, at this time of the year I'm partial to Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Pies
I'm glad you like Frankenstein Doesn't Plant Petunias.  Have you seen Frankenstein Doesn't Slam Hockey Pucks?  The idea for that came from my oldest son playing hockey.  Hope you have a fabulous day, Debbie

Werewolves bookHi Jacob, good luck with your project on Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp.  The idea came from the fact that Marcia and I love nature.  The purpose of the story was to have fun!  I have always loved to read and I think that made me want to be a writer (hoping that someone might like to read something I wrote!).  Today, my plans are to study seahorses for a book that will come out next August.  You can find out more about me here.
Shreeya, 11-11-12 is the same in the US and India!  It wasInside the Magic also my mother's birthday.  I hope you have a great vacation.  Are you traveling anywhere?
Norah, I'm so glad you like Dracula in the Keyholder books.  Right now, we do not have plans to write additional Keyholders.
Maggie, do you think mermaids celebrate Christmas?  I certainly do.  There is a Christmas Island and also the Crhistmas Tree Worm.  That might be a fun way to put Christmas into a mermaid story.  What do you think?  Hope you'll check out these Christmas stories.  Have a great week, Debbie
