Hey Theresa, I'm so glad you like Mermaids Don't Run Track.  I hope you'll like my new series, Mermaid Tales.  Isn't it cool Mermaids Don't Run Trackto think that there actually could be mermaids at the bottom of the sea?  After all, there are plenty of places that are unexplored in the ocean.
A big hello to Mrs. Kempers' class  You guys rock!  Brook, my favorite color is blue and my favorite food is strawberries.  What's yours?  Christina, I've seen all the Jurassic Park movies.  The first is the best.  They are a bit gruesome, so I wouldn't recommend them for too young.  I haven't had the chance to see We Bought a Zoo, but I've heard it's good.
Brittany, it is too bad about the Eagles.  I'm also saddened about Joe Paterno.  Lisa, I'm happy you are enjoying Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots.  It was my very first book!  Hey Katrina, did you know I went to Hawaii to research Wolfmen Don't Hula Dance?  There was even a hula dancer at church!  In fact, there were three hula dancers!  My husband couldn't believe it.  Have a great day.  You are the best you in the whole world, Debbie

Kate and Anika, what great ideas you have!  They remind me a The Monsters Next Doorbit of the books Marcia and I wrote called The Bailey City Monsters, where there is a kid who moves to Bailey City who is a monster.  He looks like Frankenstein!  ttyl, Debbie

Hey Brittany, I do like sports.  Maybe you can tell from some of my books like Bogeymen Don't Play Football, Leprechauns Don't Play Basketball, and Zombies Don't Play Soccer.  Since I Leprechauns Don't Play Basketballlive near Philadelphia, I'll have to go with their pro teams although the Eagles didn't do so well this year.  For college teams, I'll go with Penn State for football and University of Kentucky for basketball.  I'm from Kentucky and my oldest son went to Penn State.  What are you favorite teams?
I must say I'm impressed with Tebow who plays for Denver I think.  It's cool that he stands up for what he believes in.  I'm also impressed with Addison Marshall, a high schooler who has cancer.  He hasn't given up and said, "Life doesn't go the way you planned it.  That's why you should play until the whistle blows."  Best of luck to you and Addison, Debbie
