The Keyholder #1Christina, I'm glad you are going to check out Debbie at beachthe Keyholder series.  You don't have to read them in order, but I suggest you start with This Side of Magic
I just got back from a beach vacation with my family.  We had a good time.  We saw some sharks, but they were in aquariums.  I even did the Leap of Faith where you drop down into a shark tank!  I almost didn't do it at the last minute. I was insane!  ttyl, Debbie

Hey Christina, I'm a lot older than you and I love reading kid's books.  I like to go back to my favorite books and read them again and again so don't worry about it.  You can always try new books too.  You might like to try my Keyholder books, which are harder than the Bailey School Kids books.  Emma, I'm so glad you like the Keyholders.  Best, Debbie

kinkajou  Greetings from the last days of summer!  Did you know which animal spends it's life handing upside down?  It's the two-toed sloth.  Did you know which animal was the inspiration for Winnie The Pooh?  It's the Kinkajou!  See them all at the Bucks County Zoo or your local zoo.  ttyl, Debbie

Yesenia and Miguel, your ideas were awesome!  I think it would be great fun to write about Medusa and Demons(a little scary, but fun!)  Wouldn't the cover be great with snakes for hair in Medusa?  And I love your description of Demi (great name) Miguel.  You guys are very creative!
Hello to Brendan, John, Josh, Colin, Mikayla, Bella, Celia, Anna, Viktor, Ian, Daniel, Kevin, Matthew, Grace, and MacKenzie who I met yesterday at the Bucks County Zoo Young Zookeepers program.  It was very cool being so close to all the animals and learning about taking care of them.  Do you know which animal spends it's entire life unside down?  I do!  Do you know which animal was the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh?  (Clue:  is wasn't a bear!)  I do!  I'll give you the answers tomorrow, but hope you'll try to find them for yourselves.  ttyl, Debbie
