Werewolves Don't Go To Summer CampHi Leslie, I am fine.  How are you?  I am lucky to have friends.  My best friend is my husband, Dr. Eric Dadey.  He is a very smart scientist.  Brenna, it's neat that we both have the same favorite part.  Have you read Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp?  My favorite part of that is when they see Mr. Jenkins eat a spider.  Ick!  Have you seen the Bailey School Kids trading cards?  Have a fantastic weekend, Debbie

Bree, I'm so glad you like my books.  Paige, I haven't made Cupid Doesn't Flip Hamburgersit to the beach yet!  But I have been to the pool several times-no mermaids there!  Jenisha, it's cool that you sing.  Brenna, the Bailey School Kids books have been optioned a couple of times for dramatic rights, but no movie yet.  I'm glad you like them.  My favorite part of Cupid Doesn't Flip Hamburgers is the anti-love potion.  What's yours?  If you live near Philadelphia, hope you'll come see me tomorrow morning at the Tinicum Arts Festival.  Have a great weekend, Debbie

Vampires don't Wear Polka DotsDear Mariam, please tell Elias I said hello.  Scholastic is planning some events for the 25th anniversary of Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots next year.  I am too!  So far, my youngest son is making a book trailer and I'm preparing a special newsletter for teachers.  What else do you think I should to?
Marian, thanks for your note.  I understand your thoughts.  That is why after I show the picture I always say that boys can wear pink tutus if they want too.  I thought that was showing that boys can do whatever they want, but perhaps not.  I will consider removing the slide and I thank you again for calling it to my attention.  Best, Debbie
