Jessie, congratulations on your book talk. You are never too old for kids books. I get letters from college students all the time! In fact, one of my favorite stories is The Giving Tree. It always makes me cry and it's a picture book! I am into recycling and trying to help our planet so I try to put that into my stories.
Shaela, my first book was Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots. It came out in 1990 and like all the Bailey School Kids books I wrote it with Marcia Thornton Jones. Hope you like it, Debbie

     Jessie, good luck with your book talk. I agree, that the Bailey School Kids characters do have strange imaginations. They jump to conclusions very quickly! You might like to check out this page to help you in your talk.
     Elizabeth, your sister does sound a bit mean. But teenagers are going through so many changes it does make them grumpy sometimes. They usually grow out of it. I'm happy you like my books.
     Leslie, everyone is entitled to their opinion and there are lots of different books so I hope you'll find some you like. It's funny, I just read a blog where a famous writer told which books were her favorites. I disliked almost every one! So, good luck finding what you like. Hi Tina, thanks for letting me know that Battle of the Best Friends is on Accelerated Reader (3.8 level). AR is a good program, but I hope that your school lets you read books that you want to read as well as books on your level. I'm so glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. Did you know there are some Super Specials and Holiday Specials that are longer?

Hi Shreeya, I'm not sure what books are available to you in India. I'm very glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. Inside the Magic Your librarian may be able to help you find other books that I've written. You can click here to see other series that I've done. My newest series, Mermaid Tales, and the Keyholder series are available on Kindle, so if you don't have a bookstore or a library handy you might try that with your parent's permission.
I like adventure too, so The Mermaid Tales are about merkid's adventures in and around an underwater school. The Keyholders are three kids who must keep the bad magic out of the real world. Luckily, they have a baby dragon, a unicorn, and a magic rat to help them. Good luck, Debbie
