Beca, I love fireplaces! I'd like to have one in every room of ghosts my house. They are just so cosy. Gabriela, I hope I'll get to try your idea. Right now, I am busy writing a new series that will come out next year. That's why I suggested you might like to try writing it yourself. Click here for a sneak peek at Ghosts Don't Ride Wild Horses. I always thought it would be cool to own a horse. Sunny, Marcia and I would love to write Keyholders #5, but my editor have not given us the go-ahead. Camilla, I heard you guys really got a LOT of snow! We received a mixture of snow and ice. It looked like the Ice Queen's world. Luckily we didn't loose power, but a lot of people did. I'm glad you like Ghosts Don't Eat Potato Chips. You might like to try Keyholders. They are a bit harder than the Bailey School Kids books. Becca, stay warm!!! ttyl, Debbie

Are you ready for some football? It is, after all, almost time for the Super Bowl. I'm torn. I've always like the Packers, but I live in PA. so I feel I should support the Steelers. Katherine, I hope you'll like Bogeymen Don't Play Football. It is hard to choose between Werewolves Don't Go to Summer Camp and Aliens Don't Wear Braces, but I have to pick Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp as it is one of my favorites.
Becca, I hope it works out that I can visit your school. Gabe, you rock! David B., please tell your son "HI" from me. Unfortunately the Keyholder publisher is still undecided about whether there will be more in the series. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If you feel strongly enough, feel free to write Tor-More Keyholders/S. Chang at 175 Fifth Avenue NY, NY 10010. Meanwhile, I hope your son will like to try out one of my other books. Kenzie, I am having great fun writing a new series for Simon and Schuster that will come out next year. Beca, I'm glad you are liking Ghosts Don't Eat Potato Chips. It took us two years to write that book! You sound like an amazing reader. Bela, I haven't received a story from you, but you might like to check out the magazines listed at the bottom of my writing page. They all publish stories written by kids. Marcus, Katie, and Grace-your idea was great. You should write the story and send it to one of those magazines. Stay warm, Debbie
