The Slime Wars    Hi Samantha and Kayla, I hope you'll enjoy Whistler's Hollow and Slime Wars.  I gave the book to your librarian so you can find out what's in the attic in Whistler's Hollow.  Michael, your story sounds cool.  Go for it!  Emily, I'm not sure if we will do more Ghostville books.  Do you think we should?  Samantha, I love your funny ideas!  Mia, good luck with your writing.  You and Michael might like to check out my writing pageCasey and Hannah, you might like to go there too for writing tips.  Your dog story sounds very Angels Don't Know Karateexciting.
Ashley, I'm so glad you liked Angels Don't Know Karate and Trolls Don't Ride Roller Coasters.  I have lots of favorites and this time of year, Angels Don't Know Karate is definitely one of them.  Rachael, my least favorite is probably Buffalo Bill and the Pony Express because of some of the changes my editor made without asking  me, although I do like the story itself.
This Side of Magic     Ryan, I love your ideas, especially the ones for the KeyholdersCatelin, your idea was so funny.  Your mom sounds totally cool.  Lexi, what book did you mean?  You and Hardika, should go to your school or public library.  You can check books out there for free.
Kevin, it was awesome to hear from you.  It's so strange, I was thinking about you and Brendan from Australia the other day-wondering how you guys were Unicorns Don't Give Sleigh Ridesdoing.  How's fifth grade?  A big hello to Larun.
Have you tried making your own comics at Comic Creator?   You might like to try it over your winter vacation.  It's fun.  Hope you'll also enjoy snuggling up with one of my books over the holiday-maybe Unicorns Don't Give Sleigh Rides.  Merry Christmas!  Debbie

Santa Claus Doesn't Mop Floors     Anyone ready for Winter Break?  My kids certainly are.  They have to go until the day before Christmas though.
Hi Jorja and Carlos, I'm so glad you like the Bailey School Kids books.  Carlos, I like the name Dracula so much I named one of the characters in the Keyholder series Dracula.  He's a dragon!
Hunter, I'm glad you enjoy both the Bailey School Kids books and the Ghostville Elementary stories.  I am guessing that you read A Very Haunted Holiday.  Am I right?A Very Haunted Holiday  Thank you for wishing me a Merry Christmas and I wish you a Merry Christmas too.  For me, Christmas is a time to remember that God sent Jesus to us.  In fact, to help me remember I put small Nativity scenes throughout my house.  I have five of them: one in each bedroom and one in my dining room.  The one in my dining room is special because my Nativitybrother made it for me, but the one is my bedroom is the one that my grandmother had.  It wasn't expensive (one still has a sticker from the dime store for 75 cents), but it was my grandmother's (Lillie Bailey) so to me it's priceless.
Eloise, I'm glad you enjoyed Aliens Don't Wear Braces.  I was just at the orthodonist yesterday with my youngest son.  I did not see any aliens there!  Aliens Don't Wear BracesNikki, so good to hear from you.  Maybe your Middle School librarian would like to get my new Keyholder series.  It's a bit harder than the Bailey School Kids books.  Bryleigh, I have been lucky enough to meet Judy Blume, but I don't believe I've ever met Barbara Park.  Ashley, I think the Bailey School Kids and The Keyholders are tied for favorite series right now.
I hope you all have a lovely holiday and that the time you spend with your family is joyous (remember nobody is perfect), Debbie
P.S.  To my friend who doesn't want her name revealed, I think being friends is the best way to go now.  Best friends do make good boy friends though.

Mrs. Claus Doesn't Climb Telephone Poles    I'm putting up Christmas decorations and I love it!  It's also the season for reading Christmas stories.  Hope you'll check out Mrs. Claus Doesn't Climb Telephone Poles (my daughter Becky's picture is in the story).
Hi Dawson, I've written about 147 books.  I am lucky to be friends with Marcia Jones.  It's been fun writingMrs. Jeepers's Scariest Halloween Ever with her.  You can find out more about me in the about me section of events and in the book report section.  Abigail, I'm so glad you enjoyed Mrs. Jeepers Scariest Halloween EverAllen, you sound like you really love to write.  Wow, fifty books is amazing.  Hazel, I think I wanted to be a writer because I enjoy The Wrong Side of magicreading so much.  Anything can happen in a story!  I'd love to see your bookmark.  Surya, I know about getting in trouble for talking too much.  Good luck!  My newest books are Inside the Magic and The Wrong Side of Magic.
Matthew, you have a cool school-it's so big!  Bananabites, you can find more information about Eddie in the swamp club in the meet Eddiemeet the Bailey School Kids page.    Carina, Becky and I have not sold our book yet, but I am hopeful.  Crystal, Cole,Erin and Amanda, I am writing a dragon story next.  What do you think I should call it?   Megha, I like the mystery Skeletons don't Play Tubasin Skeletons Don't Play Tubas.  I also like the name Claude for a skeleton, don't you? My favorite part is in chapter nine when they are in the dark hallway and the skeleton is after them.  I make books by writing what I hope are fun stories.  I am reading the story I just finished out loud to my youngest son.  He is giving me suggestions.  Reading out loud is a great way to find things in your story that you want to Triplet Trouble and The Class Tripchange because they don't sound quite right.  Susie, the three things in the savenger hunt in Triplet Trouble and the Class Trip are on page 23 and 24 (a mummy, mouse, and a quarter). Katelyn, my first book was Vampires Don't Wear Polka DotsIsabella, I'm so glad you like Werewovles Don't Go To Summer Camp.  gtg put up more Christmas decorations (IT IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!), Debbie

I hope you guys had a fantastic Thanksgiving.  It was a great time to play board games, poker, enjoy two soccer tournaments, watch movies, and read books at my house.
Gabi, Marcia and I are so happy that you loved the Inside the MagicKeyholder series.  You are an amazing reader to have already finished books three and four since they're brand new.  Marcia and I have been brainstorming ideas for the next two books.  Feel free to send your suggestions on what should happen next.  Angle, I've been working on a story about a boy who doesn't have many friends and loves computers.  Something happens and suddenly everyone wants to be his Mrs. Jeepers Creepy Christmasfriend.  I've been sharing it with my youngest son and he says 'it's actually pretty good'.  That's high praise from my son-he hardly likes any books!  Hi Kelly, I'm so glad you like the Bailey School Kids.  You might want to check out the BSK activites in the Swamp Club.  See you soon!  Hope you guys have a great week and are nice to someone just for the fun of it.  brb, Debbie
