Debbie:   I want to thank you again for your wonderful visit to our school. I spoke with several of the teachers and they were telling me that the kids were absolutely thrilled with you and now are wanting to read all your books! The fourth graders were saying that this was the best Young Author's Day in all the time they've been at Woodfern.   I also wanted to share a story - yesterday there was a kindergartener in Mr. Preisler class who was crying since she walked into the school because she was afraid that there were going to be animals at the presentation. I tried calming her down as well as several teachers & aides. Mr. Preisler finally calmed her enough and brought her to the presentation with him. Well, the next time I saw her, immediately after your presentation, she was smiling and saying I want to hula and be like Ms. Dadey!!!!!   Again, thank you so much for a giving the kids at Woodfern Elementary such a fantastic and memorable 2008 Young Author's Day!
