I am writing this letter because I have to do it because it is an assignment for English class for Third grade. I thought it was funny to read about a swamp monster in Third grade because I am in Third grade. My favorite part of the book was when Jake ate a gigantic hamburger, fries and a shake. I thought that was funny. I liked the ending because Emily and Ted put Jake into the cart and they almost got caught, but they got Jake to the swamp in time. Jake got away in the end. "

"Ladies, I compliment you on your wonderful books. My son came home with "Werewolves Don't Run For President" from the school library and tonight my second grader said he had to return it to the library tomorrow. So after I put them to sleep by page 50, I thought, " I've just got to know how this book ends. So whether or not they keep the book another day and they find out the ending, I've just got to know for myself, what is the deal with Mr. Youngblood." So I stayed right there in my director's chair and finished the last 30 pages with satisfaction. Then I was pleasantly suprised to read that the authors were from my town, here in Lexington, Ky. After searching on Marcia's website for an extended period of time and having no luck to leaving a message, I finally found relief in finding your talk site. I just want to say, congratulations on your successful books and my children and I will be continuing to read them in the years to come. I've always wanted to publish a book. Who knows, maybe I'll get out my old rough drafts and continue to type them up to send to publishers. Thanks to your website, I'm re-inspired!"
