Wow Amanda! That may be a record, 10 Mermaid Tales books in one day! I hope that means you really like the Sea-tacular collection. Maybe the library has the next nine books for you. Have a super weekend, Debbie
Dear Candace, I wrote a story about someone with allergies. It was called Bobby and the Great Green Booger! Have a great day and say hi to Jeremy for me, Debbie
Dear Amanda, It was fun writing the shark song (Shark the Sharpnose Sevengill) for The Battle of the Best Friends. I also wrote the words and had help with the notes for The Mermaid Tales song. I had an idea of how the song would go, but my friend Diane wrote beautiful music for it! It would be fun to make a video singing the shark song! I imagined it sung to the tune of an old song called Puff the Magic Dragon, so that might not work.
Raquel, it can be hard to pick when you have many choices. Have a great day and God bless, Debbie
Dear Madelyn, I love to read as well! Actually I stayed up too late on Friday night reading a book. I was glad my dogs decided to sleep late on Saturday morning!
Happy belated birthday Amanda! I am so happy that you received the Sea-Tacular Collection for your birthday. Happy reading! I’ll be so curious to find out which is your favorite. Did you know I have several books about birthdays, including Knights Don’t Teach Piano and The Battle of the Best Friends?
Rosie S., Echo does have a crush on Rocky! I hint about it in several books. Raquel, I’m going to go with a talking gnome. What about you? Have a super duper awesome fintastic week, Debbie
Dear Jeremy, If you are allergic to something you can get red splotches, a cough, and wheezing. If you know you are allergic to something, then you know what will happen if you come in contact. Best, Debbie
Dear Amanda, Happy early birthday! I hope you enjoy the Sea-tacular set! I write the Mermaid Tales books, Tatevik paints the pictures, and Simon and Schuster Publishing company has it printed and puts it all together. It is the traditional way of publishing a book, although the Mermaid Tales are also available as ebooks. Jeremy, allergies will often make you sneeze. Have a super day, Debbie
ear Jeremy, How unusual to be delivering home-grown parsnips at this time of year (vegetables usually are harvested in the summer and fall). I hope you mom doesn’t have allergies.
Ellie, I like dolphins too. Maybe if you ask nicely, your librarian will order more Mermaid Tales. I hope you’ll enjoy Treasure in Trident City. Amanda, Simon and Schuster is the publishing company that publishes the Mermaid Tales. Madelyn, all the Mermaid Tales are about the same length.
Rosie S., I think a book about Rockie and his sea horses would be fun. A big hello to DJ and Raquel. Have a great Wednesday and God bless, Debbie
Dear Raquel, Wow, thanks for saying I looked like Princess Diana on my wedding day in the video for Flower Girl Dreams!
Happy early birthday Amanda! Fingers crossed that you get the Mermaid Tales books you want. Madelyn, I am like Echo in The Secret Sea Horse-I’ve always wanted a horse (although she wants a sea horse!) Have a great week, Debbie
Dear DJ, I understand being worried. I have a friend in Australia too. Luckily, I found out she is safe. I’m glad you are able to video chat with your friend. I was glad to see that there has been some rain in Australia to help the situation, but I will continue to pray for everyone there. I will also do what I can to help prevent global warming.
Madelyn, I enjoy writing and I don’t plan on stopping. Do you have a favorite book of mine? Raquel, I do read my own books. Have an awesome, fintastic week, Debbie
Dear Joy, I think I am probably the most like Shelly of the mermaids in the Mermaid Tales. I like to sing, only I don’t sing as well as she does!
Amanda, that is hard. I think it is a tie between the Mermaid Tales and The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids books. Have a great weekend and God bless, Debbie
