Dear Ella, I never learned how to knit, but I can sew. My grandmother, Lillie Bailey, was an amazing seamstress. She made all my clothes growing up and even sewed Barbie doll clothes for me. The Bailey School Kids series is named after her. She was a very special lady. I hope you enjoy making things! Best, Debbie

Ella, your Thanksgiving dinner sounds yummy. Mine will be small this year, just my husband and me. We’ll have turkey and gravy, mashed cauliflower, and my husband’s favorite: green bean casserole. Candice, I’m so curious. Are you allergic to parsnips? Thanks for sharing your story. It reminded me of when my daughter used to have a backyard carnival everywhere. She charged a small admission for the neighborhood and gave the money to our local animal shelter. Marty the Mudwrester is my story about a carnival. Stay safe and wear a mask, Debbie
