Dear Geetika, When I was growing up movies were rather rare. Once a year our TV station would air Cinderella and The Wizard of Oz. Cinderella was my favorite because the flying monkeys and the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz always scared me. I still like Cinderella movies, but that Oscar and Hammerstein one has always been my favorite! Here’s one song I like from it. What’s your favorite? Your friend, Debbie

Dear Geetika, Mermaid Tales and The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids are my two favorite series. I usually answer around 7 AM Eastern time, but I have been away for a few days.

HI Friends, Today is the release date of a new book! It’s the Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots graphic novel. Hope you’ll ask your school librarian to get it (it comes in paperback, hardback, audio, and Kindle versions)! Marcia T. Jones and I wrote the story and Pearl Low adapted and illiustrated it. Hope you’ll like it, Debbie
Yes Geetika, the Keyholders is a short series I wrote with my friend, Marcia Thornton Jones. It’s about three kids who try to keep bad magic out of the real world. Luckily, they have a magic rat, a baby dragon and a unicorn to help! My favorite color is blue. What’s yours? Best, Debbie
