Dear Cyrstal, Thanks for your posts. I love your idea about diaries. That could be great fun. I think the art is set for the cast of characters, but I can check. I am writing book #21 right now so I will definitely include Wanda more. Book 21 will have some scary parts! Feel free to write something for the next MerStyle magazine. If you remember Kiki has 17 brothers, but not any sisters. Maybe a brother could visit and Pearl could fall in love! Best, Debbie

Dear Lucy, I’m excited that you like Twist and Shout. Echo is a lot of fun! We are alike in several ways-she is not a good speller (neither am I) and we both want a horse (she wants a sea horse).

Dear Genesis, I became a writer by writing! As a teacher and librarian, my favorite part of the day was sharing stories with my students. I wondered if I could write one, so I started trying and found I really enjoy it. My writing page gives some tips if you want to try. Have fun, Debbie
