Dear Harmony, It was great to hear from you. We are doing the best we can. Leaves are turning red, orange and yellow now and it’s very pretty. My youngest son’s birthday is Wednesday so that will be a difficult day. He passed away two years ago. We miss him so much. Hope all is well with your family. God bless, Debbie

Dear Ella, I am loving the fall weather and the changing colors of the leaves. I am excited that A Titanic Friendship is out in the world. Wouldn’t it be fun to visit the Titanic for real? Hope you enjoy the story. Your friend, Debbie

Dear Ava, Congratulations on reading your very first chapter book! Wow, I am honored that you chose The Trouble at Trident Academy. I have trouble picking one favorite sea creature, but I do think sea horses are awesome too. In fact, so does Echo in The Secret Sea Horse. Hope you’ll like it! Have a fin-tastic week, Debbie

Dear Maggie, The live action TV show is with showrunners, so fingers crossed that it works out! I’m glad you liked Mrs. Jeepers is Missing. It was the first Bailey School Kids Super Special. The next Bailey School Kids book is a graphic novel of Ghosts Don’t Eat Potato Chips. I was actually doing some edits for it yesterday (and the rest of the week!) Thanks for writing and happy reading, Debbie

Dear Maggie, You are correct. When we first wrote Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots Mrs. Jeepers actually DID turn into a vampire monster at the end of the story. Our editor was concerned that it was too scary for kids in elementary school. What do you think? When we were working on the graphic novel version we toyed with the idea of going back to the orginal ending. Maybe they will in the live-action TV series. Who knows? Thanks so much for reading my stories and hope you like the newest Bailey School Kids book, the Frankenstein Doesn’t Plant Petunias graphic novel. Happy reading, Debbie

Dear Jaylynn, I like dolphins because they are so playful. I actually got to swim with one once. I like sea horses because they look so much like little horses and I always wanted a horse. Whales are pretty cool too. I learned a lot about whales when I was writing A Whale of a Tale. I like to sing too! Have you tried singing the Mermaid Tales song?
Dear Ava, I like them both too. I do like stories that have some adventure in them. I also like funny stories. Have a blessed day, Debbie

Dear Miriam, Congratulations on your new baby brother! He is brand new, so people are bound to be curious about him. Pearl had the same problem in The Winter Princess.
Jenazabethana, I’m surprised that your brother let you watch the Titanic movie. It has some very sad and disturbing parts to it. People are fascinated by the big ship and I am no different. My newest book, that just came out this week, is about a trip to the Titanic! It’s called A Titanic Friendship. A new mergirl comes to Trident City who just might ruin the ocean trip that Echo has dreamed about her whole life! I hope you’ll enjoy my story as I hope it is not sad or disturbing!
Christina, it was nice of you to check on your friend. McKenna, Raina was definitely not being very friendly to you. Perhaps she was having a bad day. Raina, I hope you will apologize to Raina. God bless, Debbie
