Dear Adria, I’m so glad you enjoyed the first two Mermaid Tales books. I like dolphins too. Did you know there are actually 19 Mermaid Tales books! The newest is The Narwhal Problem. The narwhal is a kind of porpoise. Kiki is the star of that story. Have a great weekend and God bless, Debbie

Dear Krinjal, Hi! I was 29 when my first book, Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots, was published. I wrote it with a friend of mine, Marcia Thornton Jones. It turned into a series, The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids. You can be any age to publish a book though. Have a great week, Debbie

Dear Madelyn, I’m so glad you and your friends are enjoying The Mermaid Tales. Some boys may not like mermaids, but they probably do like narwhals and sharks! I would have loved to see your play! Have a great day, Debbie

Dear Quincey, I’m so happy you and your little sister like the Mermaid Tales. Hello to your mom! I hope you are enjoying Fairy Chase!
Amanda, thanks for your questions. It would be fun for Rocky to fall in love! Did you know there is Mermaid Tales book about fairies called Fairy Chase? It would be fun to have a Mermaid Tales movie! I am honored that The Secret Sea Horse was your first chapter book. Did you know I’ve always wanted a horse just like Echo? Here are some fun sea horse activities you might like to try this summer. Happy reading, Debbie

Dear Afina, I hope you enjoyed A Royal Tea. There is a book called A Little Princess that says every girl is a princess (it was also made into a movie). I like to believe that. Maybe someday you can visit that castle in Japan! Meanwhile, you might like to read The Lost Princess. Have a great Thursday and God bless, Debbie
