“Hi Debbie. I did not realize that there were so many books that were about animals and sports. I actually just remembered that I read Zombies Don’t Play Soccer and loved it! Thank you for the other suggestions. My Mom said she will take me to the library to see which ones I can read over the summer. By the way, I also liked Sea Monsters Don’t Ride Motorcycles because it was very entertaining. Talk to you soon! I look forward to hearing from you again. 🙂 ”

“I just finished the first Mermaid Tales book. I loved the part when Pearl said all shrimp and krill are disgusting. You should keep making more Mermaid Tales for kids. I hope it’s not too hard. It was funny when Rocky put the cleaner shrimp in his mouth. My favorite girl in the story was Echo, she was kind of funny. ”

“Hello Mrs. Dadey. Nice day today…well, except the rain, of course! My younger brothers and sisters are enjoying you’re books so much! I would like to thank you for all the good books you have made! My apologies, where’s my manners? My name is JJ! Girl, if you do not mind. My younger sisters (Kayla, Opal, and Penny) have some questions. Penny says, “How old is Debbie Dadey? She looks pretty!” Opal says, “It must take her, like, a thousand years to write these books! They’re so BIG! How long do they take her to write them?” and last, but not least, Kayla, and she says “I wish I knew how to write….how does Debbie Dadey write that good!” And I have a question myself! What was your childhood life like? What inspired you to start writing? Well, this letter is long enough, so I must say my goodbyes! My brothers Hans, Georgy, and Frank say hello! And I, of course, have to say goodbye. Bye!”
