“Chapter 10: The Truth The next day at school, Marko, Haillie, Emily, & Levi met under they tree. “Let’s ask Mrs. Azrcy if she really is a cuckoo clock,” said Levi. “I’ll ask.” When they got to class, they all stood in front of Mrs. Azrcy’s desk. “Well…a…Mrs. Azrcy…are…you…a…uh…cuckoo clock?” asked Levi. “Why of course not!” said Mrs. Azrcy. “Mrs. Azrcy,” said Marko. “You’re…TALKING!” “Why I am,” said Mrs. Azrcy. “You must like writing notes,” said Haillie. “Yes,” said Mrs. Azrcy. “I do.” “And have you not noticed your name,” said Haillie. “If you look at it closely, you’ll see the letters spell crazy.” “Yes,” said Marko. He used his wordball power to show. He took his wordball & threw it at the air. Levi used his unscrambling power to show that. “So that’s why you thought I was a cuckoo clock,” said Mrs. Azrcy. “We thought since u lived in that crazy house, you were a cuckoo clock!” said Marko. “And…a…Mrs. Azrcy. We’re the prowlers.” “Oh,” said Mrs. Azrcy. She imagined she was making a prowler. Prowlers Marko & Emily Mrs. Azrcy laughed. Marko laughed. Everyone laughed. “Cuckoo clocks don’t become teachers!” giggled Levi.THE END”
“Chapter 9: The Chat The tap they felt was Mrs. Azrcy. She pushed them to Mr More’s office. She put her hands on her hips. “Look what you did,” she [Emily] whispered to Ricardo. “She’s the second grade bully,” he thought. Mrs. Azrcy dragged both of them into the office. Then she left. Emily & Ricardo day there staring at each other. Just then, Mr. Mores came in looking at them. He started grouching at him [Ricardo]. And Emily. “HE STARTED IT!” hollered Emily, pointing at Ricardo. “But that’s because she wasn’t smiling in her school picture,” said Ricardo. “I don’t care who’s fault it is,” said Mr. Mores. “I am going to call your parents.” “Ha!” wailed Emily and Ricardo. When school was over, the Nalãns grounded Ricardo from teaching Spanish Lessons. &. made him apologize Emily. The Lulbys grounded Emily & made her apologize to Ricardo. ”

“Suzy is so annoying. I’m sorry she has written so many letters to you, her favorite author, over the years. All she does is get up early in the morning and check the computer to see if you replied. She is literally your number one fan she has all your books”
“Chapter 8: Fight “Here let me,” said Ricardo. “No,” said Emily. “But you ain’t smiling,” said Ricardo. He took the yearbook out of Emily’s hand. A big man came along with “The Giant Yearbook”. Emily pointed. “Give me my yearbook!” screamed Emily. “No way,” said Ricardo. “I am going to tear this part of your yearbook out!” Emily grabbed her yearbook. But Ricardo’s hands were still on it. Ricardo pushed Emily’s hands off. But, before Ricardo could rip the page of her class out, he felt a tap on his shoulder. And so did Emily. ”
“I know you’re probably busy on Thanksgiving, so, here’s a early happy Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving, Mrs. Dadey!”
“This page isn’t getting removed, is it? I enjoy having chats with my favorite author. Speaking of wich, I’m on a hold at my library for Flower Girl Dreams! I’m excited for that book!”
” Chapter 7: Chickening Out The next morning in class, everybody was asking Marko & Emily what happened. “Well…uh…we…uh,” went Emily. “So what was in the basement?” asked Haillie. Marko & Emily looked at each other. They hadn’t decided what to tell their friends yet. “Hello?” said Haillie. “I don’t think they went!” giggled Caleb. Just then, Mrs. Azrcy wrote a note. Class, it’s time for Room Eight to sign yearbooks. Please take your yearbooks from your desk. But first I want you to look at who is in this class. Thank you.
