“Chapter 2: Emily’s Cousins Haillie, Marko, Ricardo, & Levi were invited for a playdate at Emily‘s cousin’s house. Emily’s little cousins, Chaludy, Jalody, & Emma we’re invited to Emily’s house for a week. Emily didn’t really play with them. (She usually spent the afternoon looking at her class picture.) “Hello, Emmy,” said Chaludy. “Bye,” said Emily quickly. “Huh,” said Chaludy. I want to play with my friends now, she thought. “Can we lay with you & you fwends,” asked Jalody. “Hey!” yelled Chaludy. “That not nice.” Emily didn’t answer. “Here some flowers to make flowers,” said Emma. Emily’s crush, Andrew, arrived the door with some parsnips for the Lulbys. Emily was allergic to parsnips, but she didn’t want to admit it. Emily wiped her nose. The allergy is starting to pick on me, she thought. “Wanna go to the circus!?” Andrew asked. “What?” asked Emily. “Wanna sit together at the show,” he asked again. “The floor is made of parsnips.” “Emily!” yelled, her mother yelled. “Are your allergy pills in your pocket.” “I’m allergic,” she said. Emily coughed her face was red. “Say are there any wild parsnips in here?” asked Emily. Emily gave it to her mom. ”

“Here is my new book called the New Coach Chapter 1: Maybe Not Levi couldn’t wait for gym went he got to school. When he got on the bus, his best friends, Marko & Ricardo, weren’t there. But Levi didn’t care. He just sat down. “I love gym, I love gym,” he sang. Emily heard him & told everyone. Everyone pointed & laughed. The bus driver, Mr. Perry, heard the noise. “Emily Lulby!” he yelled. “You’re fired from the bus!” He wrote a note. When they got to school, Emily had to give the note to her teacher, Mrs. Azrcy. Everyone thought she was a cuckoo clock. When it was time for Gym, Mrs. Azrcy said, “Children, please go to the gymnasium.” “I hate gym,” grumped Emily. “Why weren’t you on the bus today?” Levi asked. Marko. “I had to go to English lessons,” answered Marko. When they got to the gym, the class stood in front of a large woman with green eyes, dark skin, 4 bumps on her face, & slobber on her lips. “Guud munin studunts,” she said in a deep voice. “What happened to Mr. Jim?” asked Haillie. Mr. Jim was very old. “He’s dead,” the woman answered. “My name is Masas Zombiet.” Emily gulped. Haillie moaned. Marko & Levi gasped.”

“Giza, Teddie, Jelody, and Wowie (the Hailey School kids) go to camp in the summer before third grade. The camp counselor, Mr. Kenkins, eats raw meat and is very hairy! The children become suspicious when he tells the legend of the lone wolf, has wolf books in his cabin, and wears dog tags. He must be a werewolf! They find out that wolfsbane and mistletoe are cures for werewolves. They find some plants in the woods and take them on a scary night hike where strange things happen. The kids are glad to be going home the next day, but will the werewolf let them leave???”
