“Yeah but the parsnips didn’t make her sneeze. They made her cough, wheeze and she got red splotches on her face. Why do you think after she started coughing, wheezing and getting red splotches, she asked me if there were parsnips in the basket? Why would she automatically ask about parsnips?”
“Actually they were my mom’s vegetables that I brought to my friend. My friend was the one who started coughing and wheezing after a few minutes of her holding the basket of parsnips. What makes you think she has an allergy? ”
“Huh. I use to think you published your books. Guess I was wrong. Alsooooo, Even though my bday is 4 days away… I am getting my gift (Mermaid Tales Sea-Tacular Set!!!!) Tomorrow! I know that’s bragging, but it’s MERMAID TALES! I just can’t keep it in! Eeeek!”
“Yesterday my mom told me to bring over some homegrown veggies for my friend’s family! She put them in a basket and I walked to her house and found her standing in the front yard. She stood up and we started talking. I noticed she itched her nose a little, but we kept talking. Then after a minute she looked at the basket and put her hand over it. I asked if she wanted to hang out, and she said yes. But then she started coughing and wheezing. I asked if she was ok and she asked if there were any parsnips in the basket. I told her I was pretty sure that was all that was in there. She dragged the basket inside and said later. I saw her later but she had red spots on her face and her voice sounded funny. Idk why”
“Ms. Debbie, I really liked book 1 a lot, but there sure were a lot of words in it. To answer your question, my favorite sea creature is a dolphin. But if mermaids were real, that would be my favorite. Thanks for this book. I can’t wait to read #8 because that’s all the library had. ”
