“Hi, Debbie. Can you remember me? I was so busy searching Ghouls Don’t Scoop Ice Cream. I’m going to check your books out this weekend! And I hope I can read all of your Bailey School Kids series so I can be a great author like you. Have an awesome day!”

“Hello Mrs.Dadey it is me again and I will like to tell you that my school is having a Read-a-Thon starting next week on March 2-6 and we need to read more than 200 pages for a class to win an ice cream and pizza party. It says you need to sponsor an author than read all the series that the author made.So I want to sponsor my favorite author which is….YOU!!!!I thought if I sponsor you I get to read all the books I love because when you get to 4th grade in my school you can’t read 3rd grade books but now they say we can read any book we want and it can be 3rd grade books. So I think I’ll sponsor you for the Read-a-Thon but I need to have your permission. So can I sponsor you??? I’ll let you think about until March 2 ok.Well bye Debbie Dadey!!”

“Dear Ms. Dadey, my fellow blue kiwi lover, I want to publish my book when I finish, but if I actually CAN finish my book, I need to finish it soon. I need spare time in between school and my swimming career, but I barely have time. What should I do? Another question, do you think an editor would publish a book a kid wrote? I think not. But I won’t give up! ”

” Hi Debbie,I just finished Trouble at Trident Academy and I have to say amazing!I read the author’s note too,my favorite sea creature is sharks, but to be specific a whale shark.I love sharks so much that when I grow up I want to be a shark scientist.Your right scientists do keep finding new ocean creatures who knows they might find a mermaid.I really think mermaids are real,so I think that books about mermaids are perfect for me to read.”

“Hello, Ms. Amazing Fantastic Super Duper Author! What do you think would happen if the Bailey School Kids’ School was real? What if it IS real? Would you move to that school to teach? Would you rather be a Bailey School Kid, or a monster? Is it actually true that your 77th grandmother is Cloepatra? My friends at school don’t believe it. Bye! (Your best friend, the blue kiwi lover)”
